8 Months Old

Claire is now 8 months old, and has been changing a lot. She loves to explore the world around her, and seems pretty smart and able to grasp new tasks quickly. She is now infatuated with walking. Before she would want to be carried around, now she wants to be walked around. She also holds herself up on the coffee table and couch. She says mama a lot and is experimenting with her voice ( it seems her favorite is a whimpering sound now). She still loves public places, and gets really excited and babbles a lot while we are out. No teeth yet but she continues drool and chew on everything.

Claire likes to pull the bumper down on her crib and see out into her room (and play peek a boo with me:) The other day Claire pulled the bumper of her crib down and fell asleep on it. Here are the creases after her waking up.

Its amazing how fast she is growing! I cant believe that she is already fitting into the jogger! Looks like she may be tagging along at the Monument Ave. 10K

More Christmas

Great Aunt Debbie sent her this rocking horse. Grandma Ginny was joking that "she got a pony already :)"
